The Company
Stål Tables is a family owned business based in DFW, Texas. Established 2012.
Owner Josh Marten has been involved in the visual arts industries for over 25 years, and welding and building furniture for longer than that.
Prior to starting Stål Tables / Stål Timber (which is Norwegian for Steel and Wood), Josh was a Photography Studio integrator – Setting up and servicing commercial photo studios with equipment and training nationwide for major corporations and fashion studios; and then a Large and Grand Format print shop integrator with a top national company that provided printing and finishing equipment and workflow solutions for large and small companies.
At the end of his tenure as a equipment integrator in 2012, Josh was the National Director of Franchise Business, helping major signage franchises with setting up and running their large format equipment.
One item Josh never had to offer to his clients is one of the most important in any production environment – Reliable Production Tables. Josh designed and engineered a modular system that could grow with a shop and last the life of the shop. Stål Tables was born.
